So today on facebook it was anounced that the Gunnedah drags has been cancelled due to forecast for copious amounts of rain all weekend ... so that kinda sucks, but at least it happened before we travelled for 4 hours!

So it looks like this weekend i will be pulling the motor/gearbox from the Gemini and beginning the humpy project! oh and drinking copious amounts of beer for reference!

It glows brighter as it gets closer to the turbo.

As of yesterday afternoon, the VS Commodore is officially stripped of bits and retired to the scrap heap, and the ball is rolling for making the Gemini into GAS202 :)

need a few gaskets and bits and pieces before the motor/box can go in but its happening, and mid august is the target for the next Gunnedah outing.

slowly making progress on this, motor and box finally in for good, had to wait for oil cooler lines and shifter to get sorted as they are pretty much impossible with the gearbox in the car!

Removed my pro ratchet mount and replaced with mega shifter :)

The surge tank is the old one i used to have so it bolted straight in, and the NOS bottle will fit nicely in the middle and then the fuel cell which is only a small one will go over on the right.

we have a few welding jobs to do, like joining the extractors to the 3 inch tail pipe i had on it with the turbo motor, also need to do some welding for fuel tank mounts then it will be close to having most of the big jobs sorted, then will be some wiring required along with mounting nitrous hardware in the engine bay and such.

we have just on 5 weeks to get it sorted!
