also i slightly made your monitor pic smaller so you can see the right axis info ... so i am guessing the top degrees is advance and the bottom is engine coolant ?

Thanks. You just need a wider screen though Yeah top is green for spark advance and the bottom has both VSS and coolant as green - coolant is the trace at about 70deg.

The passenger side rear brake still had some old diff oil left in the pads (axle needed to be replaced after a diff shop used an angle grinder to remove the bearing collar and stuffed up where the oil seal runs) so was smoking heaps! Nothing like burning diff oil in the shed

diff oil is bad enough without burning!! i've just tonight been doing ratio swap in the gemini, and i just can't get used to the smell!

Finally got around to building the trans interface board. It takes the delco signals for the two shift solenoids and converts them to high side drivers (the toyota trans needs 12V switched unlike the delco switching ground), a reverse lights output driver, and a TCC driver (the delco cant supply enough current). It also takes the A340E Toyota shifter switch outputs (a switch for every position) and converts them to the 3 delco range signals it uses to interpret the shifter position.
