Re: FS: PCM NVRAM Conversion (VS Ecotec, VT V6/V8, VX/VY L67)

Hey gangsters. I've been reading around the forum whilst on nightshift and getting out of work. Theres mention on another thread about how this NVRAM from you Gareth is only supposed to be on whilst tuning? And then once happy with the tune, sending it over to secondary DS1245Y-70IND+ NVRAM/ SRAM to...

Re: 304 in LN106 Hilux- DTC 41

Update, I've installed the wideband 02 and had a few runs to sort out the over-fuelling/VE table. It's getting better but still needs a lot of adjusting and smoothing. During some previous logs I've been getting excited and doing a bit of a power run (sounds mint), but shortly after I am cleaning sp...

Re: wideband- needs pull up resistor removed ?

Just digging this one up again. I ended up buying the Spartan 3 wideband and getting a mate to weld another o2 bug in on Wednesday. Just in preparation i pulled my ECU apart and tried to locate the pull up resistor (if or when i need to launch it), but the board on the FAQ looks different to mine (4...

Re: Wideband recommendation

So this might be obvious after I ask, but you have to keep the OEM narrowband O2 in and fit the wideband O2 separately? As the pcm will need the narrowband to run and wideband is just for tuning accurately?

Re: 304 in LN106 Hilux- DTC 41

Idle A/F Ratio vs Coolant is commanding around 14 AFR which is what you have in the second image. The first image is only 13 runtime so probably has some of the Initial Run A/F ratio offset vs coolant in it so commanded AFR is 13.6. I agree with Antus that the O2 sensor probably hasn’t warmed up en...

Re: 304 in LN106 Hilux- DTC 41

Nothing really jumps out at me from the log, but I can see your narrowband voltage going higher, as you describe it, at the same injector pulse width (and map). I wonder if its actually you're o2 is getting more accurate as it warms up to operating temperature, and you just need some tuning to suit...

Re: 304 in LN106 Hilux- DTC 41

A lot of people have problems with aftermarket ignition modules. You are often better off with another OEM one from the wreckers. If the connections are good, no corrosion or anything on the pins, and changing the module fixed it for a while, you could still have a new fault with the ebay module. J...
