E67 & T42 Bins Needed
I need help with acquiring some bin files to use with the Universal Patcher to create some files for my project. I have some ctz and hpt but I can’t use them with Universal Patcher. I’ll start first with the easiest, the T42 OS 24255281 which was used in 2012 and 2013 trucks equipped with a 4L65. Pl...

Re: E67 Questions
CAN started with e38/e67. If you need CAN, you are on the right path with the e67. I know about efi connection, I'm just too frugal to spend for aftermarket when I can make stock work for cheap. Share your CAN project as I'm curious about what you're trying to accomplish. Good luck and I have no ex...

Re: E67 Questions
Cincinnatus Mike Noonan over at EFI Connection has developed components specifically to run the Gen I SBC with the newer PCM’s/ECM’s. I also have most of the components to rebuild my 350 including a Serpentine Drive. However, as you and others have pointed out, using a P01 or P59 would be cheaper to...

Re: E67 Questions
I’ve been doing a lot of research here and on other sites. As stated i an earlier post, I’ll grab a whole vehicle to get the electronics out of. However, since I won’t be able to transplant all of the options, I’ll need to program them out of the BCM. With that in mind, I’m looking at getting a Tech...

Re: E67 Questions
Sean, Good Points!!! I've been looking at connectors online the last couple of weeks to build a harness, These people must think the connectors are made of Gold. It would be cheaper to buy a harness pre-made. There's a pic-n-pull in Cape Fear but their inventory sucks or at least online. However, af...

Re: E67 Questions
Good Afternoon, ScarabEpic22, Sorry for the long delay, I had to have a couple of surgeries and I'm staring a couple more in the eye as I type. I've been looking at different cars that I'd like the look of and that I already know their dash will fit in place of mine. Mainly the 2012 Cad CTS-V. It co...

Re: E67 Questions
Greetings darkman 5001, I just noticed your reply. Concerning the SB350, it's my first build. I built it while a student at the tech school that I attended for my 77 Camino which my ex-wife made me get rid of. Should have gotten rid of her instead. I have a OEM TPI setup and really like to look of i...

Re: E67 Questions
"If by new components, you mean a brand new part, that has the same compatibility with ECM service number and the desired ECM OS, then yes, you can use it." Yes, You nailed it!!! Thanks for the responce!!! You mentioned about grabbing a wrecked vehicle and using all of it's components. Yes...
