ahhh cant win lol, ive already got low speed fan connected from pcm but its running flat out due to the nil comms with bcm fault code .
so theres no way possible to have a mil or power light with out cluster or going to a simulator?

ahh bugger - so i cant possibly have a MIL light unless i run the bcm and have the cluster, or obviously run a BCM simulator
I'd still like to run the bcm tucked away purely so I get low speed fan and power indicator lights if anyone can help with wiring

thanks for super quick reply Antus, i just did a few more reads and after 3 i lifted the adaptor up in the programmer zif socket a bit and got this read, any chance you could take a look mate? i made the adapter with a nice pcb and header terminals and just rechecked the adapter with multimeter and ...

I may be better off using the fan control built into 12p then. When you say the wiring is already there on pin c1 ( i have a vn commodore 304 v8 ) where does the fan control wiring run to ? as the vn 304 runs the viscous fan standard
