Thats is correct...the Berlina has the 175kw motor and 4 speed 4L60E...the car has done 80 000kms...have now taken it to several different "experts"...both transmission specialists and general mechanics even a race car builder...all say the same thing...something very wrong with the car bu...

Yes it is..sorry ..stupid mistake..VZ still running backwards but only on hills now.....like a slipping clutch...time to trade in I think....no-one knows what is wrong with it....

I don't have a scanner for that unfortunately but I checked today with someone who has...... only one code showed which basically indicated a very general "transmission error".....he put the car in drive and floored it...took straight away but very sluggish...thought maybe a shift solenoid...

Hey guys....need some advice please regarding an alloytech v6 motor .....having all sorts of issues with my wifes 2006 VZ berlina...runs backwards in drive...no not kidding.....and now been advised that the bosch motronic ecu has a habit of blanking itself?? :comp: ...never seen anything like this.....

tell me about it!!...saw several different mechanics when my mate sold his workshop but unfortunately no one picked it up...one even told me that the aircon compressor was the problem...since been checked and apparently its ok......what can I say

finally!!.....the acceleration problem appears to have been solved....taking the advice of members, I methodically worked through every mechanical, electrical and assorted devices checking and cleaning...the last item...and I do mean last....was the maf sensor.....it was filthy!!...using crc maf cle...

Hi Brett...I also have a 1995 VS V6 BSTK memcal...with the help of members (Dec_head for the memcals, Holden 202, VL400 advice and assistance) I tried changing memcals (BWPJ) and found sinilar issues (see Delco probie)...the last post was from a member correctly pointing out how the O2 sensors were ...

Got around to doing a datalog...results speak for thermselves....afr around 12 on accel...pity about the relaxing of spark advance because accel feels much the same as a result...checking earlier ecotec bins, looks like the early models had a good spark advance but maybe holden reduced the power by ...
