Berlina only got the 175kw and 4 speed auto.

Thats is correct...the Berlina has the 175kw motor and 4 speed 4L60E...the car has done 80 000kms...have now taken it to several different "experts"...both transmission specialists and general mechanics even a race car builder...all say the same thing...something very wrong with the car but not coming up on any electronic diagnostic device....one guy charged only $150 for an entire mornings work on it because he felt bad that he couldn't find the problem....only solutions given are to either sell the car (who would buy it if they drove it??) or replace the transmission and hope that the problem is infact the transmission..

On a more positive note...the VS executive is going well...no other problems apart from those I have already whined about...its transmission has been replaced at 220 000km but considering its now 350 000 km (and 17 years old in a couple of months), its simply brilliant...go delco!!...so good in fact my wife wants it back....hmm...no chance...
