Re: Delco Radio Class 2 Data Defines?

I don`t want to disappoint you, but the radio don`t sent or recieve anything on bus, when controls on wheel are used. They are hardwired based on resistance voltage drop. Hi all; I THINK that the only class 2 data on the older radios is "Speed Compensated Volume" but I could be wrong. I d...

Re: More ELM327 Fun (Read: Headaches)

Hi all; One thing to remember is that there is NO "official" v1.5 ELM Firmware! As Antus stated, the original ELM v1.0 was NOT protected, therefore people copied it and use it as their firmware. If I am not mistaken, versions skip from 1.4x (not sure off hand if it was a or b) to 2.0 or 2....

Re: Transmission Performance Mode disabled

Hi all,

If memory serves, I believe Pete (creator of many useful apps and hardware it seems) has explored this function.
Y'all might try reaching out to him for assistance.

Re: Hammer not reading ECU

As Tazzi has previously stated, try using the NATIVE OBDXPro, rather that the J2534 device.
Not too sure if he got the GT J2534 driver sorted yet.

Re: Neat/pro looking way to clearance headers?

I know it's not quite what you are asking, but back in the 90's I put headers on a 1977 Pontiac Trans AM.
After driving over a "Speed Bump" a bit too fast, I had nicely flattened collectors!

Re: ALDL circuit

Hi all,
FYI good design practice is to pull all unused inputs of the IC to ground, so the output circuit of each buffer stays at ground level, too. (Inverters would be tied HIGH using pull-up resistors like in the diagram)

Re: IPC Hammer

As far as I know, as it is a port of PCMHammer, it has no .bin files. Mike IPC Hammer does include a bunch of stock bins but iirc they're only grouped by year range that they're compatible with and otherwise don't have any descriptions of which options they have enabled/disabled. Well, I guess it's...

Re: IPC Hammer

that should be easy enough. you don't need to read the cluster. ipc hammer should have the stock files to start with. Find your calibration file, search for the service airbag message and replace it with what you want it to say. save the file and write it to the cluster with ipchammer. I don't even...

Re: P04 Custom Code

Maybe trace where it get saved and monitor that value. Found some 2nd gear switch that use the same logic as 4Low/tow and performance switches. Might give you good starting point to figure all the inputs, tracing the board. It is from 2002 v6 firebird pcm It would appear that this is the SAME schem...

Re: 06 Saturn Vue 3.5L 12609702 Programming

IF it has an LX9 3.5l engine it might have a P05 PCM, which isn't supported.
I beleive the later LZ4 used to e38.
What is the 8th character in the VIN?
