Delco Radio Class 2 Data Defines?

Post by weinerschizel »

I have a 2001 Tahoe with the Delco Radio PN 09383075. Have been designing a circuit to do bluetooth audio with factory harness (no modifications just plug into radio harness). I'd like to decode the Class 2 Data so I know when play buttons are pressed and transmit those to a source Bluetooth device. I've got everything else working in the design. Would be great if I also had play controls.

Anybody have a table with Class 2 Data message definitions?

Sorry if this is already posted somewhere, I looked but couldn't find it.

I don`t want to disappoint you, but the radio don`t sent or recieve anything on bus, when controls on wheel are used.
They are hardwired based on resistance voltage drop.

Hi all;

I THINK that the only class 2 data on the older radios is "Speed Compensated Volume" but I could be wrong.
I do know that my 2001 Grand AM has this feature from the factory, and the pinouts DO show a class 2 connection.
