OK, that's kinda what I expected TBH. I'll let the owner know and we'll go with plan A modify the TB linkage to suit.
Cheers

Cruise control settings ecotec V6?
Where or how can we adjust the cruise control settings? Working on a VS L67 tune which has a LS TB, when cruise control is engaged the throttle movements are very aggressive because of the much larger TB. One option is to physically adjust the location of the cruise control cable (make the arm longe...

Re: V6 oversized pulleys.
There not too bad after sitting in a box for almost a decade. They would look really good with a buff on a wheel but this is with just a rag and polish. 20240603_163300.jpg The alternator pulley is brand new, never fitted. On the VN I had charging issues as I never ran it long enough and it would si...

Re: V6 oversized pulleys.
I ran the complete set on my VN for years and never really had any negatives as well as our old VS ecotec. PS might be slightly heavier, I actually fitted the 20% OD pulley on the missus Calais with variatronic steering because the steering is so light there was no feedback with the OEM pulley. I al...

Re: Best ecu choice for VS?
Assuming V6?
You are aware the VS runs on a MAF based system and all the V6's before Ecotec run on MAP?
If you only want manual then just use 11p instead of 12p
The only thing I'm not sure about is the 424 speed sensor input if it can handle the T5 VSS? Someone else may comment.

Re: Best ecu choice for VS?
I would go with the VR 424, it comes with high speed coms which the 808 doesn't
