hey sorry guys, my VS S2 and my VS BT1 looms dont have a knock sensor on them, what could be the difference there?

Only HSV used the knock sensor/have the wiring in the loom.

It's actually a seperate run wire on these model's. Not a part of the engine harness.

so would it matter at all if i wired a VT roller cam into VS ute with standard VS V8 loom without knock sensor?

No so long as the knock sensor is disabled in the tune.

I fitted a vt roller engine into my brother vq. Just run all your accessories and intake manifold along with you engine loom on the vt motor and your done.

why do you need to run the earlier inlet manifold ? I would have thought they were the same ?

No IAT sensor thread and only 1 temp sensor thread at the Front. Probably missing the vac port for MAP to can't remember that one.
