custom bin works on 27sf512eeprom but not on 27c512 eprom

The flash and burn only programs 3 kinds of chips but will read a stock one but can't program them

I tried to verify chip with buffer but it kept saying no match, then i read apparently eproms wont verify with buffer? Im guessing its just an issue with the bin file cells on the factory eprom?, ive bought more sst27sf512 eeproms so ill program one of those with the bin file then ill see if that verifys then works in vehicle

Simple memory chips should always verify correctly. If they don't, that means programming has failed.

Oh ok thanks guys, i was selecting 27sf512 since i couldn't do it on the 27c512 setting, what program do yas use to program 26c512 chips?

You need a different chip programmer like the cheap Tl866 II mini is a good one

I use the apu1 at the moment, what program would i use with the TL866 programmer?
