just remembered in old car the wiring had this little button :idea: one wire came off the button during wiring transfer I'm pretty sure the wire that broke off the button went to the bodies earth. In the old car you had to turn the ignition on then turn the key as if starting then hit that button, the starter would not turn unless button was pushed in. I think the problem is here :think:

Hi :D yes it is from an auto! And did you jump the old inhibitor terminals as well? no I didn't what are they?

ah ha! I labeled them wires! will post back soon with a picture to show everyone which wires to jump :thumbup: Thanks I wouldn't have worked this out for days! :lol:

I left that part of the loom in the old car! :lol: now it's in the new car. Some pictures to see the wires hope it helps to refresh your memory, I think your right :thumbup:

Awesome 8-) so the 2 purple wires on the shifter switch or the 2 purple wires on the plug connecting to main loom?
