Where can i find that driver and is it 32 bit? a Does anyone have both obx and nano? I'd like to keep one but scared to delete the nano driver because it tech2win was so hard to setup in the first place to work. I see obdx in the "select the manufacturer" window but the window that comes next which is the refresh window is blank. I tried using the midi in the select the manuafacturer and obdx driver and get blanked on the refresh screen. It took me all day to get tech2win to work with the nano and i'm scared to touch it. I guess i'll just wait until someone has been sucessful doing it.Tazzi wrote:I had no idea what’s needed for a vxdiag. They mess with a bunch of different things so it’s best not trying to use multiple tools if you’re installing anything vxdiag nano related.
As for OBDX with tis2000. I personally have not tested, but have had other customers indicate they have used an OBDX with tis2000 on a windows7 machine. I do not have any information about how they are running tis2000 or how they installed it.
For OBDX tools, you only have to install the OBDX tool j2534 api driver for it to be installed onto that computer.

As before, vxdiag causes alot of problems with other scantool manufactures.
So if you want to use vxdiag, you are going to have to have a completely separate setup for vxdiag.
Alternatively, if it is working with the vxdiag nano, then just don't use the OBDX? No point using two tools.

I dont know how much space or ram your machine has, but sometimes for this kind of stuff it can be worth running virtual machines, and installing driver and app in to a VM. Then you can have both, but have them isolated. Its a bunch of messing around, so you need to decide if its worth doing or not.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

I am sure I am going to single handedly find every single issue with MAUI.
An issue has now been raised with the microsoft team for them to investigate (https://github.com/dotnet/maui/issues/14775). Hopefully they can replicate the problem and fix it quickly so I can get this iOS wifi socket sorted.
Im about ready to just make a template ios Swift example from using ChatGPT and leave it at that

I know chatgtp can write software but can it read a bin and figure something out why my fans dont come on at the temp i want them to be? It would be so badass if you put an intuitive tuner into obdx software on the vt. Something that figures out what settings wont work because of this and that. Like color coded and to find the one its linked with to make it turn on is a different color. I've been watching tutorials on ghidra and it can see how one function sparsens out to other in a graphical sense. Shit it would be nice to have a virtual engine/tranny to see what the tune does real world.Tazzi wrote:I am sure I am going to single handedly find every single issue with MAUI.

Chatgpt cannot reverse engineer a bin file to identify where tables and that are.DethRattles wrote: I know chatgtp can write software but can it read a bin and figure something out why my fans dont come on at the temp i want them to be? What it can do is help automate many other processes though that may be involved in creating definitions for an ECU.
OBDX does have the idea of making a tuner one day down the road, but its a huge undertaking since I am the core coding developer. Theres a bunch of things we have to complete first before we cross that road.
Our current todo list is:
- Complete current commercial client tools (People that are getting custom scantools made)
- Produce a new tool/s to cover BMW/FCA vehicles and their popular applications (bimmecode and alphaOBD plus any dealership software).
- Create the MAUI WIFI API for iOS (waiting on microsoft to fix an issue)
- Fix a few little items in OBDXplorer along with adding some new features for data logging and replaying datalogs.
- Create a smartphone version of OBDXplorer
- Complete more template examples for both windows and MAUI
- Demonstrate modified J2534 windows/MAUI examples
- Setup servers in AU/US to enable remote J2534
- Migrate all stock into Amazon servers
- Create the API between amazon and our site to handle stock allocation
This is just a small list of things I can think of on the top of my head

You need to hire another coding expert but now i see why you have your hands full. Right now i'm waiting on support as to why my bins are different from pcm hammer to droid. At first my 2004 grand am se pcm couldnt be read by droid. Support on facebook asked for the vin etc and they gave obdx an update. I was happy to that lsdroid was able to read the bin file but they said the bins don't match?!? and thats all they wrote.Tazzi wrote:Chatgpt cannot reverse engineer a bin file to identify where tables and that are.DethRattles wrote: I know chatgtp can write software but can it read a bin and figure something out why my fans dont come on at the temp i want them to be? EDIT Ahhh, now i understand why they say the bins are different,,, i get 588 tables from pcmhammer but only 4 tables from droid when i pop it into pcm hammer. I never looked at the droid one, just figured since it read it gave me the tables. so what the hell?

Re: OBDX Development - Developer Tools and Suggestions
Can you please give me a copy of reads from both PcmHammer and LSDroid of the same exact PCM unchanged between the reads from the two different apps ...
That means read (and read only) with one, if you must power down the PCM between, disconnect the battery, do NOT turn off ignition, then do the read with the second app.
Turning off the ignition changes the parameters section and will definitely cause a difference, no point in creating unnecessary differences.
Thank you!
-Enjoy
