Have had this car come back in for some more tunning but have run into some problems :?
It looks like the MAF might be on its way out, so it looks like it might be time to go Mafless.
Dose anyone have or know where I can get a base Mafless tune for the VT 5.7ltr stroker (series 1) and also is the 5ltr PCM wiring diagram the same as the 5.7ltr?

probably the only difference in the wiring would be a knock sensor im guessing.

Wiring harness should be the same, al VT V8's have knock sensor.
As far as a MAFless tune for these, at this stage you are limited to Kalmaker as far as I am aware.

So Kalmaker are the only one that do a mafless for this model :( I was hoping that someone else had one as I don't have any kalmaker gear and they are not worth the expence for the amount of EFI tuning that I do

yeah, the dual bank code is a bitch to reassemble properly, and to turn in to something that can be modified and keep the banks in sync. ive got code (in the dissasembly area) that does recompile, but its still a big job to make it properly relocateable which will be needed for those kind of mods (injecting write mode over the top is easyer and is done). we'll get it sorted (i know vl400 is up for it) but its probably a while away yet.
