Re: 202 turbo
looks good mate, only question i have is why are all the AFR table values 14.7 ? same for boost ones.
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: 202 turbo
i dare say none exist
i know i've only ever played with the 1bar stuff and developed the histos in it

Re: 202 turbo
yeah mine has 1bar histograms but im buggered if i can get them to work at all no matter what i do i made all them early tables no worries must be looseing my grip on things LOL and im back to hateing TP5 again anyone tried selecting a group of points in graph veiw via mouse dragging doesnt bloody work

Re: 202 turbo
I ve set the A/F ratio to 14.7 so i can use the O2 sensor to correct any lean or rich areas in the ve table as it stays in closed loop the whole time.As you can see in the logs it works quite well even under 170 kpa boost .You can then watch the intergrator and blms in your log and bring up blm history tables for the whole ve table .Once i get the o2 voltage close to stoich and blms and intergrator all sorted and close to 128 ,i can then set all the commanded a/f ratios to what i want and it should run at those ratios.Been doing it this way for years and it seems to work well for me .
Also i noticed in the log that what you said vl400 ,the rpm signal does start to get a bit sawtoothed as the rpm get higher.Maybe the signal that comes out of the camira module is not as stable as the v8 module , as it has to convert a sine wave into a sqare wave.
Delcowizzard heres the adx im using. As holden 202 said you have to make the history tables

Re: 202 turbo
i wouldnt be running 14.7 on boost at all i wouldnt run anything higher than 11 while getting it close to correct then 11.8 when tuned on an oil cooled turbo do you have an egt probe i bet shes bloody hot in the combustion chamber

Re: 202 turbo
Yeah thats why i havent given it a hard time yet.If you notice i didnt go over half throttle ,and still got 170kpa boost, wich surprised me,and i was also keeping a close eye on o2 voltage and engine ,plus i was only giving it very short bursts so i could see roughly where changes needed to be made as it was the first time i had driven it.
Im sure its will need bigger injectors as there hitting 90% dc on only half throttle either that or turn the boost right down.Any way ill richen it up a bit where need be and see hoow i go tomorrow.

Re: 202 turbo
youll get full boost way before full throttle going full throttle wont change much at all its just as bad boosting at half throttle as full throttle boost is boost no matter how much pedal you push. if the timings still low its probably lucky to have survived as low timing makes for even hotter cylinder temps making it even easier to melt shit 100kpa yeah you can get away with 14.7 JUST but not for anything over that. i normally just guess a ve table for boost set a/f ratio to 11 do a run at the lowest boost the wastegate can do and watch the wideband lower ve table to suit untill its close then set it to 11.8-12:1 and recheck ratio again then i crank the boost up into the next map cell and do the same once youve done 2 colomns the rest is very easy to estimate it is way easier with a driver i can dial in a v6 ve boost table in around half an hour of driving i never log i just do it live as long as you know what kpa colomn its running in on boost its easy to just watch the wideband and rpm to know where it needs more fuel
.i blew up one V6 and that was enough havnt killed one since smashed the side out of a piston in under a milisecond when it boost spiked LOL once the full boost areas tuned you can spend half an hour just doing where it transitions accross the table to get it coming on boost nice then you can drive it like this all day every day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRJHGtKZqKE

Re: 202 turbo
90% duty cycle they are maxed allready i wouldnt even tune it any further before getting injectors its never going to go into the 11:1 fuel ratio if its at 90% at 14.7 park it and wait for injectors before it melts

Re: 202 turbo
also the Charge Temp - Boost % Coolant contribution for calculating charge temp Vs RPM & MAP table is blank you need to build that table before even hitting boost its guesswork i can sson knock up a table to suit pretty good if you want for off boost spark and ve holden202's 202 tune is a good one
