vt ss 5 litre auto force motor vs tps????
hi guys just wondering has anyone changed the force motor specs in a tune to higher than 90 psi ???? if so what does it actually do? like if i changed the 100% tps section from 90 to 100 psi would it hurt the auto in any way??

there is a scalar that specifies the max pressure and its 90psi, so anything above 90 will get ignored .... but i haven't seen what happens if you change the max scalar aswell ....
from what i've heard its not a good idea, but i don't know if thats just for a standard box, if you get one rebuilt with better parts in it you may be able to go more without having issues.
one thing i can tell you, if you change the pressure to 90 psi at 0 kms its REAAAALLLY harsh

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

LMAO @ change to 90psi at 0kmh is harsh! I can imagine!
I've actually sent some tunes to be tested on stock auto's & had that max scalar changed to 125 psi from 90 & stiffened up a lot of the other tables & actually makes the stock transmissions last longer if driven harsh & under load constantly!
I've also been told too though that there is a valve or solenoid that won't allow more than 90 psi even if you do up that max scalar!

yeah in the gbox there is a little hex nut that you can wind up manually to increase the overall pressure, ive got mates that wind them up 1/4 turn at time till it feels nice and firm. ive never tried to increase the max pressure scalar to see wat happens.

Re: vt ss 5 litre auto force motor vs tps????
thanks guys for reply where would i find the scalar? also being a maf based tune not map to increase fuel abit would i adjust the injector rate constant vs mgc vs rpm ? is that the ve ? like in map based tunes? if so how much should i increase it at a time i just dont want to lean it out or flood the motor too much i was thinking like .030 at a time until i get desired afr im after is that too much or too less? im still learning maf based tunes any help?

Where is the tune your using? I'll look for the max scalar!
With the fuel side of things I wouldn't personally do it blind! either do it off the stft's or the wideband is even better!
