Should be able to do it with minimon. I know FixedUntilBroken has covered it in some of his videos on YouTube but I don't remember which ones.
I dig around and found the video. Great resource, thanks for the hints.
NSFW,
It could be different reset sequence, soft reset vs hard reset. There is some differences between pcm behaviour using watchdog reset and stop reset, but is impossible to trace the boot sequence of the two. Some testing will reveal which one works better for other modules.
Tested, in circuit (in vehicle), sucessful. Rig= OBDlink LX bluetooth. Was able to correct miles and hours. Mule= 2007 silverado classic with junk ebay instrument cluster. Worked flawless.
On a seperate note, my junk cluster gauges do not work, voltage lite on, high beam lite on. display and turn sigs work normal. wondering if i have a possible corrupted flash or maybe an incompatabile BCM. Will try to post the cal/os properties when i get a min. Thanks again to all of you guys. PCMhammer and IPChammer have been an extremely useful tools. P.S. the cluster came to me broken, IPChammer did NOT corrupt anything and worked flawless. Lovin the youtubes Fixed Until Broken
The os/cal have no checksums that I know of. I haven't played with the os too much but in the cal you can change the text. Like change it from driver 1/ driver 2 to fucker 1/ fucker 2 lol.
omg, ima snag this n give it a fun ol hawk 2...< lolz wait my 91 is analog. well time to play on a 08 buick(in evil- moms old car new play toy- noises) hell if i can git to say Git-R-Done ima got er did to my friends new car, n watch his gasp as he reads take me back i hate my new life or something. Neat!

Attempting to resurrect this thread.
I've gone through the GitHub version updates etc. but couldn't find my answer.
Does anyone know if this is compatible with GM WII platform (Impala, Monte Carlo, Grandprix etc)?
They are also Class 2 Serial.
from my understanding, it currently only works with GMT800 (Silverado, Tahoe, etc) and GMT360 (Trailblazer). It should be possible to make it work with other class2 IPCs, but how to do it is way above my knowledge unfortunately. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can chime in
Hi guys is there a mapping or descriptors for the OS/Cal files? Also does this make calibrating the needles more accurate than eyeballing it and readjusting per your scan tool output? I have a manual transmission cluster I want to add steering wheel controls and some DIC functionality to.
