Re: My toys
Been a while since I have updated, so this is what has happened in the last couple of months
Have the twin turbo motor tunned and ready to go in the buggy. Have about 120% more power
than the standard V6 it has in it now, so I thought I may have to do some more mods to the buggy to handle the extra power and get it to the ground.
So I upgraded the uni joints and tailshafts from the commodore to Toyota landcruiser. Changed the rear drum brakes with disc and fitted bigger rear Tyres and fitted a stage 2 shift kit in the auto
Our next race is at new years but I won't have the new motor in it by then as I have done a rear main oil seal
in it so am going to strip it down and give it a freshen up before it goes in the buggy

back tyres should do the trick!!
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: My toys
Well who would have thought it would be to wet for a mud derby
but the easter mud derby has been canceled to to to much rain
The track is under about 12 foot of water on the dry sections
and I don't have a big enough snorkle on the buggy or me to keep above the water
But not all is lost we have decided to take all the buggies out to the speedway track saturday night and torch a few tyres for a bit of fun at the 1/2 time break.
This will also be a good test to see if I need to beef up the drive train any more as it hasn't had a real load test yet with the new engine in it yet
