Getting ready to tune a vt 304 manual which has a old yella terra blower setup on it. I have found enhanced bin and xdf which I think should be correct but cannot seem to find the adx to suit this ecu.
Any help please to where it is and also are these ecu live tune like the vt v6 ecu and earlier? or flash based

Re: VT 304 Manual
All VT need the PCM NVRAM hardware, and the right enhanced bin for the computer and car on the NVRAM. In the first instance, use a programmer to write it directly to the chip, then you can tune it over ALDL. All the enhanced bins and files are in the enhanced thread here viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2518 They are memcal based, not flash. See the hardware and other guides in the FAQ area (green ? up near the top right) for more.

Re: VT 304 Manual
okay so I now have everything needed my question is like the v6 can the v8 maf have a higher frequency? Only as it is a supercharged setup and concerned it will max out the flow quite easily

Re: VT 304 Manual
Enhanced raises the software mapping of the maf frequency beyond the factory high frequency and raises the air flow handling internally. I have heard factory MAF will go a few Khz higher. Aftermarket tend to be less capable. If thats not enough then you need a larger MAF. There a few options and a thread describing them. See the details in the "Enhanced MOD General Information Version 1.2 READ FIRST!" in viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2518

Re: VT 304 Manual
Probably won't be an issue with Enhanced code if it has the stock Throttle body, but may need a larger maf if Throttle body is a larger LS1 setup.
