Re: T43 2010 can compatibility
There are multiple tables.
i just checked and it looks like the early tcm os u posted has the same addreses. but honestly i'd try flashing in a 17 os first and see how you go.
otherwise go to 24256125 it's a much better os.

Yea looking at this if the 24256125 is supported a 24270599 shuld be able to be flashed as well
https://forum.hptuners.com/showthread.p ... t-possible
Do you know if hpt will do a error check before flashing or if I have a chance unbricking the tcm if it where to happen by flashing the stock file back?

looking at this, it seems odd that the 24256125 is interchangeble with 24270599, but i will give it a whirl now with the 24256125 first

@tre-cool
Thank you so fucking much, the 24256125 is working perfectly, nice shifts and no tcm error. Only a ecm lost com to tcm, but I can live with that! I'm unsure if I wanna push my luck and try the 2017 OS to get that code away...
Kind regards

Re: T43 2010 can compatibility
So my knowledge there are 2 things with the compatibility.
1 is the hardware taking the flash, so pre 2009 will take anything to 2006 & the same for 2006 to 2009.
2009.5/2010 will take anything to end of production for our commodores, since most Operating systems have some overlap to the wider GM world I can't see why they wouldnt work. I've flashed a 2012 tcm to 2017 VF & it worked.
ECM to TCM compatibility is the 2nd hurdle. This comes down to CAN communication setup between the 2 modules, the U0100/0101 codes are directly related to the SOHM configured on each module. The ecu in your instance is expecting to receive data on a specific can ID so it knows it's got a healthy connection to the TCM. So in this case it's likely that while the trans is happy, the ECU is not getting what it expects the TCM to be broadcasting to & flags the fault.
if the box is shifting as expected, just turn the dtc code off.

Re: T43 2010 can compatibility
Adding 2 cents before turning off that code.
Verify the engine is pulling timing on upshifts
Verify the engine rev-matches closed throttle TUTD downshifts
Verify the engine adds / removes idle air on PN <-> DR transitions

Re: T43 2010 can compatibility
wuld you look at that lol, it works!! why is there so much conflicting information on flashing OS to the TCM? it makes it super hard to figure out what is up and down..
