Yes vlad it should make easy power there's one over here at 750rwhp in a track car.it made sense to start here with 4 valve per cylinder than struggling with Buick airflow restrictions lol
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

Yep, the alloytec's head flows very well stock, and the engine as a whole really can rev very high without issue, hence why they make easy power without needing anywhere near as much boost as other common engine combos. Even NA with mods and big cams, they have easily surpassed 450hp at the crank figure, some reports of 500hp.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

They are well known to kick the rods out with higher than stock RPM, ask me how I know :lol:

All the speedway guys replace the rods (and bolts) with something more suitable for RPM. There's even a titanium option!!

These engines can easily do over 9k when built, right?

I personally not seen bottom end failures on them, but I don't know of many examples used in racing, only normal road cars which are normally just boosted stock engines.
