VY ecotec : Closed loop and O2 sensors dropping

trying to learn by interpreting the data logs, my car is a VY 1 tonner ecotec which I've updated the ecu with The1 tune.
When I logged the other day I noticed car was going between open and closed loop whilst at constant freeway speed. Reviewing logs I see the 02 sensors are dropping and restoring at similar times, is there something in the settings which are shutting the 02 sensors down, seems odd if one of the new sensors is bad they drop at similar times. Car also drops in and out of Lean Cruise which maybe related, or at least I see afr change from 14.7 to higher numbers which I assume is lean cruise then jumps back to 14.7 at relatively stable conditions.

Hoping upload of chart and closed loop settings works. note car is currently only reaching 80deg when logging (fans come on when logging ??) so i dropped the closed loop temp threshold thinking that was the problem.

Is there any other hardware or settings which control o2 sensor and/ or Closed loop I can look at

Closed loop only happens when it's commanding 14.7 .it will come out of closed loop if you get on the gas or decelerate. When in closed loop the o2s will swing fast back and forward

Add in the data trace for target AFR and you'll see when it's in closed loop.

Thanks for feedback, can see what was mentioned, as soon as target afr goes leaner when lean cruise starts the O2 readings drop. Seems super sensitive to being in cruise or not. So similarly, when in Lean cruise the Closed loop stops because of no 02 readings and goes into open loop, is that because the narrowbands 02's arent sensitive enough away from 14.7 ?


I've attached the logfile. Has lower cruise and close loop temperature (75deg) otherwise same as The1 VY eco files.

When in lean cruise you are no longer at the stoichiometric ratio (14.7:1) so the O2 sensors will show as lean rich. The narrow band O2 sensors only show the swing from rich to lean etc when the target AFR is stoichiometric ratio (14.7:1 for petrol).
