Knock ears
I’m looking for a cheap way to confirm knock and that the pcm is or isn’t actually seeing knock. Has anyone tried this ? https://youtu.be/5KoI35Cj9pE?si=ecvRT82thbYA-5Xm

Yep built a few out of personal hearing devices
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

So they obviously work. What’s your opinion on using just mic vs wiring it up to a proper knock sensor ?

Just use a donut sensor or if for tuning commodores add the factkr knock sensor plug on it and an earth clip
