FWIW,,,

I have very good experiences with the Veepeak Brand devices. Fairly priced and reliable.

I have about 6 of the "Mini", 1 of the "OBDCheck BLE" and 2 "OBDCheck BLE+" units.

I don't do much tinkering with ISO 15765-4, mostly just J1850VPW.

I have recently discovered that the Mini and the OBDCheck BLE don't support ATCRA without an argument. Only the OBDCheck BLE+ does support ATCRA without argument.

bluetooth elm's for ios are going to be impossible to find afaik.. They do make wifi elm devices for use with an iphone though.. Something about the bluetooth is hard for licensing or something with apple..

i downloaded a torque pro knock off app that worked for reading data with the veepeak device, but I couldn't find any ios app that would let me send custom commands
