Connect NVRAM/PCM to a PC

So I’m totally new to this and I’ve looked around the site I mostly get confused by the slang used anyway I’ve purchased an Nvram and just looking at it all and I’m left wondering how do I connect this thing to my laptop? Probably a really dumb question but please help haha.

I have never used a NVRAM but you might have to tell the forum the ECU info your working with.

Have a look at the guides in the FAQ area (green question mark up top right, might need to rotate your phone if you are on one to see if you cant) and be ready to read. Read the guides watch the videos, don't set the RW jumper on the nvram until you have everything working properly and know the basic details like what operating system is on your nvram, what xdf and adx to use.

If you only bought an nvram board there will be no place to connect to the pc.you need to buy the usb comms board for vn-vp or an all cable for the newer models

Thank you for your replies guys. Delcowizid that’s the info I was after I brought one years ago but I think I sent my pcm to them and they modded it so it was ready to go. Just hadn’t looked to far into it so wasn’t sure appreciate your help.
