Did you ever find out any more information on this? I have a 2001 Buick Century with a P04 PCM that is having problems after writing. Your last post with the "went bad" debug log looks similar to mine where it fails to write to the memory blocks in your debug log around line 8110.

i didnt unable to get it to do anything. i feel like it talks with patcher but pcm hammer and jetdst all fail to recover/do anything. tryed same program to undo it ect idk. im thinking it has to do with the locations or bench obd2 port dont have tan wire hooked up, witch may fix my tcs and constand abs light with no low trac or trac off lights.

think my problem may stem from doing a full os / eeprom write/change? maybe start by a cal then once unlocked go full os?? idk. at dealer we do whole os swaps, if needed. wonder if i should start with a reman ecu but i blew my 15k getting car n putting her to 100% rtr with under armour lol love it but got like 500 tied up in shit that for 6 months has left me almost back inside playing video games.

I dont think the preview release is ready for widespread P04 use. It is working in testing for some of us, but there also has been some reports of bricks. Please don't use it if you are having problems until we can identify if it is a problem with pcmhammer, a certain interface (obdlink) or voltages. As this is a hobby project, there is no ETA for that work though development is always slowly happening in the background.

getting by with tiny tuner

been able to read and write to p04 pcm's but finally got a 2002 buick pcm from a 3800 car and wasnt able to complete the last 2 segments and i did a full write using the obdlinksx, and was looking for input. i read n think a os change is doable on p04's and needed to due to the supercharger change, aswel as the engine type trans map ect ect (vin too). cant get last 2 to change and unless pcm hammer uploads a kernnal it shows up as no os vin info recovery mode ect, would disable flash checksum do this as it is unlocked all the time? no seed/key exchange needs to happen. sry im an idiot n anything helps. sry i havent updated sooner, but finally got some time, not on my laptop and will post files later of the debug ect. think it was driver conflict errors as to the write issues, as superchips in cab tuner had added edge and holley drivers i was unaware of and thats what i data log and drive around with to monitor 16 pids with to see if stuff is going good.
