This fixes a bug that a couple people reported in the last couple weeks. That bug has been there since day one, but apparently the rest of the world JUST discovered the logger.
I'm also including a fix for different bug in the Logger class. This one isn't hit very often but I ran into it a while back and have been meaning to bring it to the main branch.
