E77 Immo off ME9.6.1 for LY7 Commodore

This is a Bosch platform, and even though it was used by GM, it is a completely different heritage to the delco/delphi pcms and a different way of doing things.

I did some testing this am and it seems that only 0x062 - 0x065 needt to be FF or 00 and its disabled. Also, odds are its a switch like you said. Vag cars have a have 2 bit switches to disable immo. The odds thing is I can't believe it doesn't set a code for not updating checksums.

Hi, do you know what package you have to buy with PCMflash to download eeprom from the VZ ecu ?

I also can confirm that it works, we have the ECU as a standalone now with no known issues (haven't hit the dyno yet)

The process was simple, BDM read EEPROM with KTAG, write Julespatch's IMMO off file from MHHauto, job done.

Having looked deep into this it appears that PCMflash can read the EEPROM via OBD, that will be the way I do this next time.

yes, pcmflash module 77 with scanmatic and the bench/gpt cable reads them just fine. its a seperate 95160(i think) chip.
i haven't done one since then but what i did mistakenly do one day was clone an E77 on a VE then without thinking went to clone an E55 and wrote the VE eep that was still loaded onto the original VZ e55 pcm.
