Hi from Phoenix

Post by big0red »

Hello everyone! Been lurking for a while. Cut my teeth on ALDL programming and we have multiple P59 things, so I joined up.

Current fuel injected projects: '63 Chevy II w/ Holley Terminator, '94 L32 from a Camaro going into a '76 MG Midget, '81 Camaro with a LQ9 and factory ECU, and my DD '06 Tahoe L59.

Here's the obligatory pic of the LQ9 in the '81 Camaro.

Hello, love the project, keen to see more pics as it progresses

How did you paint the inlet manifold?
According to chemistry, alcohol is a solution...

I hydro-dipped it. Green paint base with this film: https://kansashydrographics.com/collect ... funny-bone The valve covers are the same, but with a neutral color. Gray I think.

The '81 LQ9 is on the back burner for a bit. The '78 Camaro drag car is the priority as the Duct Tape Drags are in two months.
