Ok its passed all my testing. @The1 Want to take a look and any chance we can put this in the official download? I've checked 4 on and 4 off flags at random for process, engine mil and powertrain mil and they all had the expected values on the stock tune. XDF will be good for DTCs in stock A5G bin files too since enhanced is a patch and DTCs didnt change.

If you can do a test for me that'd be great. I want to prove the process codes and engine MIL codes are the right way around. If you can deselect the Engine MIL codes for what you are seeing on a car, observe cluster MIL go out, but make sure the data log shows that the DTCs are still set internally that would be awesome. If you cant see it in the logs, try it the other way around (that is mask the process DTC and not turn the engine MIL DTC back on. The objective is to stop the MIL but allow the OS to still process the code. If they're backwards I want to fix the XDF up before I move the logic to others.

Applied the same logic to A6E for V8. Here is the first byte of EOPT1 and LOPT1. Same order one section after the other. The rest can be implied. Not shown but POPT1 starts at 36E8.
next need to check they have the same DTCs defined and if so can offset the previous work for this xdf. If there are any more or any less DTCs it'll be a some more work.

Can confirm A6E has the same DTCs in the same order. The offset is simply -18 bytes for all data items compared to A5G. I've made an XDF (and noticed a type-o or two in A5G copied from the original app that ive fixed. So I've updated the A5G above and have an A6E that can wait for confirmation about if process DTC and Engine MIL DTCs are the right way around. I dont have a VT bench setup so some help with that would be appreciated from anyone who can do it.

I thought people might be wanting DTCs on flash PCMs too, so I didn't have the same data for flash so I went hunting based on visual pattern match and found what looks to be the same DTC flags in the same order. Untested, but I think there is a very high probability that we can bring them in to the 06a XDF as well, and that being the case and the other end of the generation, every other OS we need in this generation of PCM too.

Those rows of 'BB's stand out and are easy to search for the the DTC masks don't change too much. Its hard to do an automated search, but just looking at the ascii text on the right you can look for say 3 charaters in a row by eye and spot them and then work out from there, and so long as your getting matches every couple of bytes your still on track. In this case it was the Àn& that my eye caught first in the 06a bin once I had the runs of BB found and was looking in approximately the right place, and it all checked out as probable from there.

Nice work antus. It does seem that Holden GM moved stuff around in the various tunes, I know the few times where I've needed to look for stuff I've looked for patterns and then try to figure out the offsets between the various tunes. Typically speaking the VS V6 ecotec tune was the most well defined so I had previously used that as the base to work from but I was doing it manually and had no real way to test other than on a running vehicle which can be risky.

Yep, will test it functions as it should hopefully end of next week when the car comes back in. Had to send it away as he needed it for the weekend and up coming week.

Yeah as immortality has said, VS is definitely the most defined, have had a couple guys help me with dtc masking on other xdf's from time to time 😅

hey mate. Can you send any of those xdf’s through to antus. I deleted a whole bunch of stuff off my laptop. Saves me from having to do them again
