No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: Speeduino PCB for Delco Replacement
Few goodies on those pins!
As for Haltech, I assume they have them reproduced either in house or for them by a 3rd party, kinda how EFIhardware have all their connectors made for them as far as I understand, they aren't just reselling most of them, their designs differ, yet are compatible to the genuine connectors that are otherwise readily available elsewhere overseas. Probably a good idea if you don't want to rely on a country like the US for your core product supply.

Re: Speeduino PCB for Delco Replacement
yeah it started out with just the delco pins to make a pnp option so one crank input, one coil output, then i got asked about having more than that and thats when i added the 4 ignition and 4 injectors, then i wanted more analog inputs for the car i am running it in and CAN for a gauge and yeah here we are

Re: Speeduino PCB for Delco Replacement
getting very close with all this, i have developed the haltech can output through the ttl to can adaptor, i've also added code to it to test at boot if the adaptor is in default config, or other than what we need it to be, then if it is, it writes the correct settings and then restarts it then starts sending can bus data, its also now using the actual speeduino engine data! so the board is pretty well plug and play now, and the haltech can data code is all in one file that needs to be added to speeduino source, then two lines in the main speeduino setup / loop areas then it works!
in other news i am planning to dyno the galant next thursday, so this will hopefully prove that its ready to race (late july) and also confirm that the delco speeduino is all working properly and actually capable of controlling an engine! if all that goes to plan then im probably in a position to release the pcb's to the public!
