T43 OS Unknown (BMW?)

They go by many names, P01, P10, P12, P59, E38, VPW, '0411 etc.

T43 OS Unknown (BMW?)

Post by H8BUMPS »

Hi guys,

I have received x2 T43's for programming but I'm unsure what os/cal is loaded on it.
Searching the 'End Model Number' comes back as a BMW variant.

Would anyone know if it is possible to flash this from a BMW binary to GM?

What is the service number on the sticker? That is not in software, but if that service number was used for the application you are putting on it, then yes it will be OK.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396

Sticker reads 24257438.

To close the loop on this in case someone comes across this in the future; I used tool32 to ident the t43 and it is in fact a TCM from a 6l45 in an e90 BMW. Also reported only BMW sw and hw numbers.

Surprised it identifies with both BMW and GM tools reporting different numbers on each but there you go.
