I've stuffed something up regarding a plug in "msc100.dll and get this when loading up TP. Also installed the vcredist_86 package as per the OSE12P threads recommendations but to no avail.
Where am I going wrong?

Yeah I've tried that. Maybe I'm saving the redist file to the wrong location? Where should it be saved to because I just have it saved on the desk top with all my other random TP stuff I've accumulatedHolden202 wrote:i had the same error when trying to use the latest plugin on windows 7 64 bit with latest TP5 ... i got vc redist 2010 and shes sorted!

Re: msc100.dll at TP start up
With XP I had mfc100.dll missing stopping startup not msc100.dll
I have mfc100.dll if you need it.

Re: msc100.dll at TP start up
a quick pc lesson
Dll files can be placed in a specific folder and they will just work there, exe,msi files need to be run and then they will install their payload then it will work.

I d/l redist 8 first for XP sp2 and had the same problem and upgraded to 10 and then deleted redist 8 in control panel-add/ remove files and that fixed it for me

They can coexist, the link in the oseplugin thread to vc2010 redist is what is usually needed. Download it, run it and let it install and you should be fine. Its oseplugin v1.2.3 and above that need it.
