for the age of the car tech2 with tis2000 might be an option. ive never bricked my test pcm so never tried to sps it myself, so cant help further. acdelcotds.com is loading on my phone and has sps2 listed but even though I mentioned it I do wonder if it supports a car that old now with the new generation sps2 software.

I've used my drewtech passthru and SPS plenty of times to recover these, admittedly its probably been 4 years since the last one.

You will almost certainly need an AASRA membership in order to access an SPS subscription now.

AASRA is the Australian Automotive Service and Repair Authority set up to manage the "right to repair" access to OEM information and software a few years ago.

There's a yearly membership fee and you have to be trade qualified

Out of the blue I had to flash a manual file to a VX the other day, I let it calculate the checksum and it worked fine.

I do it on a bench harness and use OSE flashtool - viewtopic.php?t=82
