PcmHammer on Linux
Linux port of PcmHammer is a work in progress. UI runs natively and basic functions work, but at the moment it only supports COM‑based devices.

Re: PcmHammer on Linux
Is that a port to something or is that .net exe running under mono runtime? I dont think you'll get j2534 working, its heavily dependant on windows architecure. Windows VM is likely required for that. You might be able to do it with wine but because its driver level at best it'll work for only some devices. The more complicated the drivers and driver tools are, especially if they need a network stack and windows ethernet drivers like MDI the more there is to go wrong or need manual config/work arounds. But for serial devices like you say it should work. Thats not really a pcm hammer thing, thats a j2534 thing.

OK, wow. Did you make it? Did you or the author ask AI to port the C# to C++?

Re: PcmHammer on Linux
Because there is a lot of AI stuff being posted lately now that AI has become reasonably capable, and I am trying to figure out if that comes with a new set of problems and in another thread recently most people thought that we should start tagging apps that were generated by AI, so I asked the question so that we know.
