Tester Engineering Suite v1.0.9-2026 Released

I have been developing a commercial piece of software that uses SAE J2534 Interfaces to cover SAE J1979 and ISO14229 and ISO9141. The result is Tester Engineering Suite, a workshop ready diagnostic tool, an automotive engineer's wet dream.

The software version is now at 1.0.9-2026, and has significantly expanded coverage and functionality since last reported on this forum. In summary it is a windows desktop hybrid C#/C++ .NET 4.8.1
application that uses J2534, RP1210, ELM327 and Serial USB2CAN interfaces to perform Diagnostics, Datalogging & Signal Analyser, CAN Topography, Programming (Flash toolkit), Emissions Testing & Readiness the Diagnostic Intelligence fault finding engine, OEM functions across 60+ OEMS, Ford PATS coverage from 1999 through to 2019, ODX Diagnostic Routine Parser and Runner, CAN Sniffer with DBC file input for live data parsing, an A2L and XDF definition parsing calibration file editor(yes that is for the tuners) with a full tuning suite built in, Cluster EEPROM reading via Serial EEPROM Programmer, Crash Data Retrieval and an ever growing set of file utilities, advanced diagnostic tools.

Every action taken with the software forms a per VIN cryptographic SHA256 integrity chain - so you will have cryptographic proof of actions taken on a vehicle - with PDF reporting throughout the software, that can generate authenticated and integral documentation that is fit for purpose in a court of law should it ever be required by a workshop in a worst case scenario - they have undeniable proof of what they did or did not do to a vehicle.

Tester Engineering Heavy bolts the RP1210 J1939 Heavy Duty Stack onto Tester Engineering Suite, and provides all the same capabilities it does for light vehicles in the heavy vehicle domain, including mobile plant. Per OEM tooling and Caterpillar diagnostics and reprogramming are available to users of the Heavy Duty version.

Can it program and talk to 12 byte ford pcm modules ? Even better does it implement any exploits to read/write the newer cs036 and cs055 platforms such as mg1 md1 etc.

Yeah it'll do the standard OBD2 and ISO14229 Diagnostics and all that with pretty much any ECU, untested on CAN-FD unsure about how the software and the J2534 will react to that at this stage, Ford reprorgamming is about at the 2018-2019 stage at the moment, with a few generic VBF Flashing routines in place for PCM IPC BCM and a few other modules, software comes with all the same secondary bootloaders that forscan has access to with the database(that was just a blatant pinching of sbls on my behalf) I am hoping to have proper VBF flashing up to and including current model vehicles probably within 12 months on the Ford side. But that may be Elon time.

Impressive software.

Currently uses the Write without erase and RSA Bypass Exploit for some tricore lil controllies, so can unlock a few currently nut not many.
