Torque converter controlled by ECU in VP?
VP's transmission is a non-electronically controlled. In the parameter tree though I found road speeds for locking and unlocking the torque converter. Is this really done by outside electronic means rather than hydraulically decided by the tranny?

Yes there is an electrical lock up for the converter controlled by the ECU

Re: Torque converter controlled by ECU in VP?
gear shifting and kick down stuff is all controlled hydraulically, but the torque converter solenoid is activated by the ECM
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!
