Mazda CX-60 Software questions

Post by hjtrbo »

Hey gents, for anyone in the know, is it possible for a home user to update module software on late model (i.e. 2025+) Mazdas sold in the Australian market in a manner akin to that which can be done with GM's SPS2?

Yes, but would require AASRA membership, a genuine or accepted passthrough and subscription.

I have recently had to go through this for a park sense firmware update on a late CX5.

Interesting, thanks for the nudge in the right direction.

https://www.accc.gov.au/by-industry/car ... ion-scheme
Consumers who repair their own vehicles as a hobby cannot access service and repair information under this scheme. However, car manufacturers are not prevented from sharing information with consumers.

And further - https://sdrm.aasra.com.au/login
You must be associated with an automotive repair business or a registered training organisation

But not insurmountable if conscience is not an issue I imagine... $99 for a peek behind the door to see what's available
