Commanding afr issue

Post by zaccoreo »

Hello all, I am having a aggravating issue with my pos.
I have been on 2 different standard ecus trying to solve this and no luck, it will be installed into the car and it will refuse to command lower then 13.4 afr my actual afr is spot on 13.4 but I have it changed to 12 afr and changed all tables to suit and but refuses to lower. It is 12.8 factory but but still only commands 13.4 it is in open loop and o2s are at 0.9v to 1.0v at wot. Im clueless

you are going to need to post more info about pcm, operating system, what you've tried, and ideally a log of the data and DTCs etc. At the moment from what you say you could be working on absolutely anything.

It is completely standard, absolutely nothing modified. The only thing changed physically is the cat is removed. The tune is standard. motor is healthy, it should be commanding 12.8 but only see 13.4 commanding on logs and wideband shows 13.4 aswell

Isnt much to take photos of as i haven't touched anything tune wise on the new pcm and from looking at it its standard too

Which part of your message tells me what car it is and details about it? Which PCM? Which operating system ID?

Where are you looking at the 12:8 AFR?

When going WOT you need to reference the PE (power enrichment) tables and use the spread sheet The1 created to calculate what the commanded AFR will be. It changes depending on TPS, CTS, RPM and Time
