VY Commodore ABS config questions (sorted)

Hi Lads

I've got few questions around setting up my car for 4 loop (pretensioners+ drivers and passengers airbags)

My car is 6 loop so has seat airbags, But i've fitted VE Clubsport seats which arent compatable with the VY SRS module but also as the cars going for Certification for all its other mods my certifier would prefer i dont hookup the seat airbags anyway as theres no saying how they will behave in a VY cabin in an accident.

I've got Tazzi's Body diagnostics software and played around with changing loop count in dash got some interesting results but not what i need to clear the SRS light. (sorry for all the emails Tazzi to your company, just desperate to get car legal again)

do i need a 4 loop (Executive) Srs module to make this all happy? then program dash to match??

Managed to work this out, the fix was to fit the SDM and loom from an Executive with only 4 SRS loops then use Tazzis Body diagnostics to get everything happy in the dash no my seats don't have active Airbags but then again who knows how they'll behave against a vy pillar and door. Also 20 year old pyrotechnics may not work anyway so at least I know im not going to have my arm ripped off in an accident by a wayward airbag.

If you have an executive ve seats are pretty much bolt in job anything else you'd need to do SDM Swap so its no longer looking for airbags in seats. All in was fairly easy.

Yeah theres a few reasonable yards, but commodores aren't as thick on ground as they used to be.

Opens up doing seat swaps for people as the installation is very straightforward
Even the SDM wasnt worst thing to do.
