Anyone have knowledge with the CAN used in the later GU Patrols?
Looks like my next project is do an LS swap in 1, so plan is to do a full digital dash swap in place of the factory unit.
I want to have the e38 run as much of the outputs & inputs as possible, so gonna be doing some experimentation with it.

Don’t no. I do know those cheap obd2 scanners work on both ls1 and the later model Nissan gu patrol and navara’s with the common rail. I use ECUtalk for the earlier di gu

small follow up, had claude write me a new app for my ixxat cable & finally got into a patrol yesterday to do some base can captures and start building a DBC file. Looking good so far.
