Burning Nvram ram tune onto my Vn memcal
As the title says I’ve erased my VN memcal in hopes of burning the tune from my Nvram onto it is this possible?

You need to replace the chip. the stock one is 16kb, 12p is 32kb. At the same time it's worth swapping from an EPROM to an EEPROM chip. This means the programmer can erase it and you don't need the UV light erase hardware, which also takes a fair while. The chips are getting hard to find now though, as they have been out of production for a long time and there have been clones as well. You are generally better of buying chip pulls (eg ones that are not new and have been pulled out of a pc or something) but whatever look for a seller with a good reputation and who will stand buy the hardware if it doesn't work. Somewhere like https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/178014463661 might work. I have not used them, I am only basing that on the large amount of good feedback and that they look they are a professional shop, not a random account with a handful of random items. What places have them and who can be trusted is always changing.
512 means 512kbit so divide by 8 to get bytes (8 bits in a byte) = 64K byte. You need 32k so it'll fit but you'll need to stack it (2 copies) and the ECM will run off the copy in the second position while the first copy does nothing, just fills a hole.

That makes sense is there anywhere I could download a stock VN tune 16kb then modify that to suit and upload that or is that not possible? Cheers

If you download the Memcal ID tool you will see the list of available bin files. Pick one and use that.
