Yeah I found the stickers one Vn v8 my original one and the other a Vn v6

So just an update my new Nvram chip arrived (I corrupted the old one no biggie but broke it removing it hence wanting to do the memcal my programmer had no issues writing to that so must either be a power issue or dodgy memcal adaptor.
