Hey all probably not the place for it anymore as it's not beta form anymore, but anyway has anyone else had the problem when connecting to a VX-VY in vehicle as soon as you connect the USB with vehicle running the mouse starts going spastic & have to un-plug USB & restart tp5 & do this a few times till it settles?

I had this issue with 2 completely different notebooks tonight!

Really did my head in!

Any ideas?

As there's no replies I'm not sure if anyone other than myself & The1 have experienced it?

But just went to tp forum & noticed there was a bug issue with periodic bad data & to fix it you need to add a pause between the monitoring macro between the receive and send commands?

I just had a look but not sure how or where to do this & whether it will help?

Any ideas?

The flash based VX/VY ADX has a 10mS silence detection in the monitor macro so can use that as an example. It can be done this way or can use the method in the small note next to the silence length and timeout ie set silence length to 0 and timeout to 10 for a 10mS pause.

you have to go into edit definition to change that, would be listen for silence, same as the option in flashtool.

EDIT: Beaten

Thanks again Guys, so obviously this is a dead end as the VX-VY 1.05 adx already has it in there!

So it must be something else, does the new version of tp5 still need to have the plug in's configured & is there particular plug-ins to use for flash type PCM with aldl cable?

Seems to like the TunerPro Data acquisition I/O interface?

Thanks Again VX L67 Getrag

In our testing we had troubles with tp5 with the amount of data on the late model bus. Overseas they moved up to the 32bit ecu and VPW serial bus, but here they went to bank switching and doubled the size of the prom, and crammed so much stuff on the bus... Im not sure tunerpro is able to handle it as I dont think the ALDL bus is so active anywhere in the world compared to on our vx/vys. You should try logging it without oseplugin (just use the adx, and the tunerpro data aqusition plugin) and if it does the same, then raise it as an issue with mark from tunerpro so he can look in to it.
