Did you press the play button and let the log run though? The data is collected as the log plays. You also need to be looking at the history tables, and have the one you want selected while it playsback. There are playback speed options under 'aquisition' to speed up the process when you only want the end result.

i do all of that,and i can view the dash ,the trace,everything exept the history tables,

if you go into acquisition menu and edit definition is there history tables setup?

The adx you are looking at may not have any setup. Not all of them do, some are better than others. OSE12P is the best defined package on this site, so is a good to learn with. Then you'll know what can be there, and when you try the factory tunes and suitable definitions you'll see how some are better than others and know if something is missing (and can make some judgements as to why).

thanks m8,the bloke loaded a screen shot of one of his histograms so i don't understand why it would not be on his log but then stranger things have happened,i have been studying the$12p111 but i feel that i am not seeing all of it ,things like tps % and other tps settings don't seem to be there ,am i missing something ,are there other sub headings that i havn't found yet?

Yeah right click on the monitors to select and deselect what you want to see next to each other for comparison.

ok i really need to ask a direct question ,does $12p111 have this parameter, AIR FLOW -TPS VS ENGINE RPM VS MILIGRAMS PER SECOND PER CYLINDER ,i would really appreciate it if someone could answer yhis for me,cheers

no it doesn't, that is for a MAF based setup and $12P is designed for a MAP based setup.
