or the easy way like most half arsed tuning shops rising rate adjustable reg with base pressure cranked up

If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem
Re: vt auto l67 tune with A 2 A cooler
If the afm is maxed just use the ls1 one and adjust your injectorflows. it works really well.
Re: vt auto l67 tune with A 2 A cooler
Sounds like a good idea to me .The bigger maf will have less resstriction as well.
Is kalmaker good for anything now, except taking large amounts of money ,and giving poor service .lol

you just have to be careful though, using a bigger MAF while keeping maf tables stock will result in cruise spark readings of 1-2 columns out, this can give you as much as 6 degrees more spark advance when cruising and cause knock retard to be active a lot and poor economy as a result. you will have to measure the MGC difference between MAF's and move the entire spark table over a few columns to do it properly

Yeah as long as you componsate for for the ecu calculating lowing mgc than the actual mgc ,i cant see why you couldnt fudge the figures a bit to end up with a tune exactly how you want it.If you watch the aldl data you should be able to see what spark it is running.

I had actually been contemplating this a while back, thought if I lowered all MAF tables by a third and injector rate by a third, would effectively increase the mgc by 50%, with associated loss of resolution from 4mgc to 6mgc. As the engine thinks less air is going and the injectors think they are smaller, it should all work out OK.
This is similar to the old $5D 2 bar conversions, although they halved the resolution.
Once an XDF had been mod'd to suit, everything should work normally, as long as all mgc references were scaled appropriately.
One more thing on the drawing boards but no time to really get stuck into, was hopiung was an easier way to change the mgc maximum from 1000 to 1500 that wouldn't affect all the tables, but from what little I understand of the coding, this too is not an easy option either.

Hi, I'm keen to see how this works my understanding is if we fit the bigger ls1 type maf we mask the out of range codes? and increase injector base rates to get the desired a/f's etc? , if this works does any body want to buy a kalmaker workshop/ street pro 3 from vn-vy? lol and i will be able to use all this ls1 mafs i've got from the ls1's i ve tuned over the years
