You need to cut the injector monitor wire and connect it to the ECU side - its a red wire going to B12.
sprattzvx wrote:2.Do i need to edit the adx file?
Yep, the current calc for the injector monitor will be X/10. Need to change that to suit the wideband - if you have not changed the Innovate 0-5v ouput the calc will be: (((22.39-7.35)/51)*x)+7.35 . Then when data logging you will see the WB AFR in place of the injector monitor.

Yeah just post up a log

You need an NVRAM or emulator to be able to write changes to the VX S/C PCM

vl400 i meant uploads on the forum. all good now but.
heres a log for you and krusty. i dont think youll get much valid info as i have a hard time keeping coolant temps over 80, and far as i know the cold temp compensation runs different spark fuel etc.

if you can't keep temps over 80 sounds like you need a higher opening temp thermostat ?

Yea it was supposed to be an 82 but works more like 78. Will be swapping it out today. Ive noticed the kr seems to be more agressive when under 80 im guessing the knock attack/decay is ramped up abit when cold. Dont See the big spikes when warm.

i had the same issue when i put the ecotec in the torana, it would get as low as 75 in the logs, and in winter it would usually never got above 80 for long enough to get all the beneifits of being above 80 .... when i put a 90 degree (stock temp) thermostat in it all my issues went away and i actually got a noticable improvement in economy too.

Yea small part big headache. Ive bought a stock 195 stat, but im gonna drill a series of small neat holes around outer face. Will take a little longer to come upto temp but hopefully come close to equal the fully open stat flow at a slightly lower actuall temp. Can only try. If i leave it stock my fans are gonna constantly run. I really need to get some nvram n wotnot so i can make these basic changes like lower cold comp to ignore at 76 or so and should be some benefits in running full spark/fuel at the lower temp.

you can get an 88 degree TS tridon book lists 3 for the later v6 82 88 and 91 and 2 highflow versions but only 82 and 91 in highflow you need the TT203-190 for 88 degree standard flow
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

supercheap auto only have the 195 listed, and some idiot ripped out the tridon page for holden.
so im hoping this might work to keep equal fully open tstat flow somewhere in the 80s, depending on the opening of the t stat being graduall and linear i spose. just an experiment ill order the trident 88 tomorrow. thanks for that info delco.

It looks like you have reached the limit of the MAF tables at about 5k RPM and is leaning out slightly above that. Whats the wideband showing over 5k RPM?

As an example, at 14:47 where you give it a boot you will see the airflow pegs at 245g/s once the MAF reaches ~10.2KHz - if you open the bin and XDF and look at 'MAF Table 8 - Scaled' the peak is 10240Hz and 245.78g/s. The MAF freq is going higher but thats where the table stops, so above this the PCM does not know more air is entering the motor. This post has all the info you need to adjust the tables .. https://pcmhacking.net/forums/view ... f=28&t=659
