Mate that info is MINT. ill read the linked post and any other info i can uncover repeatedly before even thinking about touching it. Main reason i havent sorced some nvram etc so im not tempted to fiddle before ive a good understanding of stuff. As for as w/b reading over 5k ill have to check later whens its cooler but im sure its at 11.0 at wot, but may spike as i havnt eyeballed it at gearchanges. Thought maf maxed out around 200rwkw depending on timing?

I would like to see a screen shot of the wideband stand alone logging Ken. The TP logs only seem to display commanded AFR and not actual AFR. 2 completely different animals

Yea im aware its commanded in tp not actual. Gets a bit iffy glancing around the cab checking w/b whilst keeping an eye on k/r lol( on deserted road i live out in the stix). Im getting a serial to usb cable for the mtx hopefully i can use log works to record a/f then overlay the data with tp. Vl400 gave info for intergrating w/b to tp but havent tried yet.

I'm not familiar with the MTX but would have thought it would have a dual output so one can go to the gauge and the other to a logging device. Try tewblog maybe http://wbo2.com/sw/zip/tewblog-20c.pdf

Re: good log pg2
don't waste your time trying to overlay logworks stuff ..... just connect one of the analog inputs (yellow and brown wires from memory) to the 808 and then use the lm programmer to make sure the analog inputs are setup correctly to what the 808 is evpecting then it should all be in the one log!
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

202, yep did that, unfortunately my w/b didnt like that idea, and flatlined.....got new one coming, try again with inline resistor or diode on b12.

Re: good log pg2
Before you hook the new wideband up directly, you could test what current the ecu is drawing through b12.
You could connect the 12v inj wire back up through a digital ammeter and check the current flow.I would think that it should draw no more than 10mA.
Just to be safe.
If i get time i will see what current an 808 draws on the wideband pin at 5V.

Yea i never considered current/amp draw but now that you mension it there would some draw once the circuit is closed. I tested for stray output but thinking its an input didnt consider this. Considering the analogue outputs are specifically there for use with spare ecu input or logging device, it shouldnt be a prob, but if b12 tried too suck too much amperage through poor mtx, i guess she coulda buckled. This could be jarble pretty munted from nightshift......

Re: good log pg2
Hey guys. Its been a while since i tried wiring in wb input. Ive had a new wideband for a while now and its frustrating logging with out true af readings. Im keen to have a go at wot af tuning. I know a diode will protect the gauge from return voltage, but as stated earlier it could have been current draw that killed the wb. I know the b12 input theoretically should work, but i hope im not the first to actually attempt it on a vx. I can use my multimeter to check current draw i think. Is there any other sure fire way to check before i poke myself in the eye twice with the same stick?
Cheers peoplz.

Add a 10k or 100k resistor in series with the connection when first attempting to get it working. Not sure of the exact input circuit on that pin, but if its like the 808 it will make the WB read wrong but wont blow it up.
