Hi,
Just looking around for some high impendence injectors for holden v8 and found some 80lb high impendendence for a 12v saturated circuit at summit racing
with either ev1 connector or bosch/AMP style connector.
What sort am I looking for that will clip straight to vp 5.0 harness and work with 808.
Thanks
is delco 808 a saturated circuit?

Saturated refers to the high impedance injectors, as opposed to low impedance ones are 'peak and hold'. The VP harness uses the squarer Bosch connector

yeah but hes got a turbo on this thing too.
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

So would it be safe enough to order a set of those, just as long as their high impendence?
and get the bosch connector sort. Is there only one bosch square type.
lookingat these:

I'd probably get punched in the head if any one found out though.... There ford ones. lol.
Any one see any probs with using them? just looking there for the price seems reasonable.
Thanks

look very much the same as these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GENUINE-VDO- ... 2c5cf4b949
i'd be careful with summit, i've bought stuff from them in the past and paid $80 post to aus .... which would make the ebay ones better value!
either way they look like the right plug yes.

Yeah I thought they looked the same, I sent that ebay bloke an email today and he said he is out of stock. So that's why i went looking.
I added the injectors to my cart from summit to see what the postage would be like and there was lots of different options from 100 bucks to 25 for normal mail?
I've never ordered from summit before so not sure.
Thanks

How would these big ones go at idle..?
Would i have any hope at getting them to idle at all or would they be too big?

Re: is delco 808 a saturated circuit?
It wont be simple but can be done and you will get a reasonable idle (but also depends on your fuel type? Petrol will be harder, meth or E85 easier). You will likely need to use the single and double fire fueling option in 12P though, the ECU will go into single fire mode when the pulse width is less than a value you set. Normally it fires the injectors once per engine rev, so with say a 1.5mS pulse as your minimum it will switch to single pulse mode and deliver a 3mS pulse per engine cycle.

ive tuned 2x boosted 304's with 60lb siemens and they are fine at idle, tho I did use single fire at low pulse width.
